2020 third quarter has almost ended so its time to count the dividends.
2020 Q3 Dividends:
Again another record breaking dividend income – 160 EUR. One clear milestone reached – US dividends has crossed 100 EUR/quarter mark. YoY result +163% from 61 EUR received during 2019 Q3. This was due to large investment made during the year.
This quarter was the fame moment of my investments in REITs. BPY overtook first place with quarterly payments of 31,5 EUR after full dividends kicked in with Catching the dip #2 – Brookfield Property Partners (BPY). Another dividend payer has joined – Simon property group Catching the dip #4 – Simon Property Group (SPG). Sad new came from BP, where dividend cut erased almost 17EUR/quarter. Tottaly expected. Last WFC -6$ after their dividend cut dropped to last place and was sold later on.
BPY might also cut their dividends as RE business is bleeding hard. I will be ok with cut up to 1/2, but from signals they are sending this might not be the case. Other then that no changes. Next quarter dividends should continue growing and brand new payers should join in – INTC, CSCO, MMM and ED with additional 10 EUR/quarter and the snowball continue rolling 🏋️♀️
